They could have been better if they came with furniture slides for the bottom of the legs. I have them on a ceramic tile floor and they don't slide easily and they're noisy when pulled in and out from the table. I need to go to the hardware store and buy some sliders and install them. They only cost about $5.00 but that's not how I like to spend my time.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
